Every winter, majestic humpback whales migrate from the Arctic to the shores of Banderas Bay for mating, breeding, and feeding their calves.

The official Whale Watching season in Puerto Vallarta runs from December 8th to March 23rd each year. Given its brevity, visitors often book their spots well in advance to witness this remarkable natural spectacle.

From the comfort of our boats' decks, you'll witness the whales' iconic spouts of water as they surface to breathe, and the splashes when they slap their pectoral fins against the water. You'll have the opportunity to admire their flukes (the tail of the whale) as they dive deep, and perhaps even witness one of their impressive breaches out of the water.

This team of experts undergoes extensive training to learn the maneuvers and precise techniques to rescue humpback whales and other marine mammals who get tangled in fishing nets. Over the past few years, they have successfully released dozens of whales, contributing to their conservation.
