| | | | Q: Where is the best place to snorkel in the Bay of Banderas?
A: Generally, the further out you get from town the better the snorkeling, because the rivers affect visibility and the variety of marine life. The best snorkeling conditions are usually found at the Marietas Islands, where we go on our "Wild Dolphins and Snorkeling" tour. Caletas and Majahuitas are also great snorkeling spots, as they are in sheltered quiet coves south of Puerto Vallarta.
Q: Where is Los Arcos and why don't you go there?
A: One of Puerto Vallarta's most famous landmarks, Los Arcos is a collection of small rock Islands just to the south of Puerto Vallarta. The area is popular with locals and many tour boats take snorkelers there, and it gets extremely crowded. Therefore, we offer less crowded snorkeling spots, and only visit Los Arcos on our Night Scuba Dive.
Q: Do you provide snorkeling gear?
A: Yes - we provide life vests, snorkel and masks. You can buy your own snorkel from us for $3 USD.
Q: What if I have never snorkeled before?
A: No problem, our snorkel guides will show you how to use the equipment and take you to the best spots.
Q: I know how to snorkel and would like to skin dive - can I do this?
A: Sure - we have self inflatable life vests for experienced snorkelers, so you can skin dive if you want to - our guides will show you the best spots. | |
