“On Sept.28, 2011 we went to San Sebastian. What a pleasure. This is more likely the most beautiful place seen during our trips to Mexico. Real Mexican soul and spirit. In our opinion, San Sebastian is a real pearl and that should be kept by Vallarta Adventures staff. Trip perfectly organized, and Gustavo was THE MAN # 1. The driver of the bus was also a great person. I think that all details of San Sebastian we explained above, so we will not repeat them. But we want to repeat is that all visitors should go there and enjoy the way we did. After coming back to Vancouver, we have promised one thing. Next time we go to Bucerias, definitely will go to San Sebastian. And we hope that Gustavo will with us, too. If we can suggests something for company, that are a little bit better bus and an one hour of free time while being in San Sebastian for own enjoyment. G.W Glowacki Vancouver, BC”

“This tour was an enjoyable side trip from our honeymoon and intense 3 day diving training while in P.V. from October 12 - October 16. Gustavo and Fidel were the perfect hosts making us laugh and learn on the hour and a half ride up to San Sebastian. They even accommodated our vegetarian and dairy allergy without any issues. Thank you for the fun (and bumpy) trip to San Sebastian!”

“I just wanted to say what a brilliant day I had today on the San Sebastian tour. Our guide, Gustavo and driver, Valentin, were both fantastic. Gustavo has incredible knowledge about everything and he's so funny! The tour is a nice chilled out day where you can visit beautiful settings and learn all about the town, Mexican history and generally have a wonderful day. La Lupita (the restaurant) has amazing authentic Mexican food which is delicious. I really enjoyed my day and would recommend the tour to anyone...along with all the other Vallarta Adventures tours. The staff, facilities and animals are all fantastic!”

“My friend and I took the San Sebastian Tour on February 3rd. In spite of the rain we had a wonderful time. Our guide, Gustavo (Gus) was great and extremely knowledgeable about the area and Mexico in general. The food at the restaurant was well chosen and very good. Fidel was a very good driver, having to negotiate around mud/rock slides and those narrow little roads, and in the rain, too. Thank you for a memorable day. We have done a couple of other tours with you in the past and would highly recommend you to anyone.

“"We thoroughly enjoyed the San Sebastian tour. Cesar and Valentin were great hosts. We were very comfortable with Valentin's driving. Cesar was friendly, knowledgeable, professional, articulate (with excellent English language skills), and very responsive to the needs of the tourists on the trip. The sites we visited were all very interesting and the tour generally was a great introduction to the "real" Mexico beyond the tourist centers. We also appreciated the excellent breakfast and lunch provided. All in all, a wonderful tour that we will recommend to others coming to Puerto Vallarta. Thank you!"”

“"The San Sebastian tour was incredible!! Our guide, Martin, was amazing! It is obvious he loves his job and the people. The day we spent in San Sebastian was definitely the highlight of our 10 days in Puerto Vallarta! We thoroughly enjoyed learning about the history of Mexico and San Sebastian. We ate the most delicious meal of our entire trip while at San Sebastian. Thank you for offering such a wonderful experience!"”

“We took a day tour while in Puerto Vallarta, to San Sebastian, a quaint little village. Our guide was Martin, who knew every minute detail about not only the town , but the history of Mexico. Martin, along with his driver were professional in every way. I highly recomend this side trip.”

“We spend a week at a resort in Puerto Vallarta, Mexico. We decided to take a tour to an old town called San Sebastian, almost two hours from Puerto Vallarta by a large van. The tour was excellent, thoroughly enjoyable. The van was very skillfully driven by a young man named Valentin, and the tour was led by an exceptionally friendly and articulate young man named Cesar.

Just before reaching San Sebastian we stopped at an old hacienda where silver was mined. It is now a museum. In San Sebastian we were treated to a delightful lunch at an informal restaurant, and then we walked around the small town with Cesar telling us about its history and people, and about current Mexican small-town life. We had worried that the trip might be a bit on the boring side, but were thoroughly delighted with it and glad we chose it.”
