What does the tour include if the Hidden Beach isn’t accessible?
Island Discovery is designed to explore the wonders of the Marietas Islands while snorkeling bird watching and more! In the winter witness one of nature’s most breathtaking spectacles as majestic Humpback Whales are spotted in the Bay of Banderas and experience an extraordinary up-close encounter with wildlife.
How do you get to the hidden beach?

How was Playa del Amor formed?
The Marietas Islands formed as a result of volcanic erosion thousands of years ago. This left the island uninhibited and it then became the site for Mexican military testing. Many explosions and bombings in the early 1900s caused the beautiful caves and rock formations that you will explore on this tour to Lovers Beach.
