Become a certified diver with the PADI Open Water Diver course, the world’s most recognized scuba certification.


This beginner-friendly program teaches the essential knowledge and independent diving skills needed to dive with a qualified buddy to a maximum depth of 18 meters (60 feet). The course takes place over 3 days, including 1 or 2 days for pool training sessions and the rest for the 3 required open-water certification dives in Puerto Vallarta´s ocean.

  • Please be aware that you must be at the check-in point 45 minutes prior to departure. Boarding will be closed 10 minutes prior to departure time.
  • To streamline your experience, consider completing your paperwork before you arrive in Puerto Vallarta.
  • The minimum age for our PADI Open Water Certification course is 10 years old.
  • Following PADI's flying after diving recommendations, please be aware that novice divers should refrain from flying within 12 hours after a dive, while certified divers should wait 18 hours after two or more dives in a day.
  • Participants with respiratory, cardiovascular, or ear issues, as well as expecting mothers, are not eligible for this course.
  • Please ensure you are in good mental and physical health to participate. Additionally, individuals under the influence of alcohol or drugs are not allowed to join the course.
