Dolphin Encounter
For families with younger children, the Dolphin Encounter gives adults, toddlers, and non-swimmers of all ages the chance to learn about and interact with these wonderful creatures without having to swim with dolphins.
This experience will allow you to communicate with and touch one of our Pacific Bottlenose dolphins in a specially designed shallow-water habitat.

Dolphin Trainer for a Day
If you or anyone in your family has an interest in dolphin training, the Dolphin Trainer for a Day experience is the perfect “once-in-a-lifetime” activity for your itinerary.
You and your family will start your day in the Dolphin and Sea Lion Center in Nuevo Vallarta. Here, you will meet with and go on a tour with our knowledgeable Marine Mammal Specialists who will also teach you what you need to know about how to train these marine mammals.
You’ll spend the day learning and practicing these skills by getting into the waters with our dolphins and sea lions. The experience includes a lunch, an exclusive t-shirt, and a diploma upon completion.
Sometimes, an educational experience for the whole family is the best way to spend quality time together and get your children excited about learning new things.

Dolphin Kids Experience
If you want to let your child experience what it’s like to swim with dolphins while watching from a distance, the Dolphin Kids experience is the best choice.
Our Marine Mammal Specialists will give your children a short educational lesson about marine mammals and conservation at our Dolphin Center. After the lesson, your kids will put on their lifejackets enter our shallow pool, and interact with the friendly bottlenose dolphins.
Adults are invited to observe their children from the observation area as they pet, hug, and play with our dolphins under trainer supervision.

Though the dolphin experiences we’ve listed above aren’t suitable for pregnant women for safety reasons, there is a way for expecting mothers to enjoy interacting with our gentle Bottlenose Dolphins!
Our Private Dolphin Swim begins with a conversation between the trainer and group to decide which activities are best suited for the individuals participating, taking into account swimming abilities, interests, and special conditions—in this case, a pregnancy.
Our experienced trainers will tailor the experience to make it as enjoyable as possible. The private dolphin experience is great for families of 4-6 and popular for couples, especially expecting parents!
