Get PADI Certified in Puerto Vallarta


This course is designed for certified divers who want to get back into scuba diving but have not been diving within the last 12 months. If you're not certified, you'll need to take one of our scuba diving certification courses to learn the basics and get certified to go on many of our scuba diving tours.

If you've never scuba-dived before and are interested in learning more, consider our PADI Discover scuba pool session to learn more about it and gain the necessary skills for a scuba diving adventure.

In this refresher course, we'll revisit essential exercises and provide comprehensive insights into gear setup, safety protocols, and key technical aspects to enhance your scuba diving experience in the beautiful, vibrant city of Puerto Vallarta.

  • Please be aware that you must be at the check-in point 45 minutes prior to departure. Boarding will be closed 10 minutes prior to departure time.
  • Minimum age for this course is 10 years old.
  • Based on PADI's flying after diving recommendations, beginner divers shouldn't fly within 12 hours after a dive. Certified divers shouldn't fly within 18 hours after two or more dives in a day
  • Guests with respiratory, cardiovascular, or ear problems are restricted from participating in our PADI Refresher course.
  • Good mental and physical conditions are required for this course.
  • Guests under the influence of alcohol or drugs are not allowed to participate.
  • Expecting mothers are restricted from this scuba refresher course.

The Scuba Refresher Course aims to reignite your diving expertise. You'll revisit equipment setup, perfect buoyancy control, and re-familiarize yourself with key emergency procedures. We'll also brush up on essential mask and regulator techniques, underwater communication signals, and the most effective ways to enter and exit the water.

The Dive Refresher Course is succinctly crafted to fit into a tight schedule. It takes just 1 day and is approximately 90 minutes long, ensuring you get a comprehensive review without taking up too much of your time.

No need to bring your own equipment; we've got you covered. Everything you need for the dive refresher course will be provided. However, it's essential to bring along your certification card as proof of your previous training and qualifications.

Taking a refresher course is required for certified divers who haven’t been diving within the last 12 months. This ensures you stay up-to-date with essential skills and safety protocols, guaranteeing a safe and enjoyable experience whenever you decide to dive back in.
