Yelapa is only accessible by boat from Puerto Vallarta, making the journey part of the adventure. Most Yelapa tours, including this one, depart from the marina with a scenic cruise along the southern bay.

The boat ride from Puerto Vallarta to Yelapa typically takes about 45 minutes to an hour, depending on conditions and stops along the way.
